Security Validation and Mitigation

A penetration test is an attack on a computer system with the intention of finding security weaknesses, potentially gaining access to the system, its functionality and data. By attacking a system in the same manner an outside attacker would, the client can better understand where their systems are vulnerable. This in turn allows, a better understanding of what security measures should be implemented to prevent future issues.

A&P offers two different Penetration testing options depending on the clients needs.

  • Insider attack (all background and system information is provided)
  • Outsider attack (very little information is provided outside of the company name)

A&P will consult with clients to determine which option best suites their needs based on the goals of the desired testing.
